CIP-CS Technical Discussion
KG Intechgra’s Health Information Partnership creates a network of connected diagnostic centers, practices and other healthcare related systems (the HIP nodes) to provide a secure, HIPAA compliant method to exchange almost any sort of electronic data between connected nodes. At the heart of HIP are Intechgra’s patented CIP and CIP-CS technologies. The HIP systems are hosted in a secure data center. HIP nodes connect to the HIP data center using the CIP-CS secure agent technology. Data sent from diagnostic centers or other data sources are received at the data center and rerouted to their final destinations. The secure agent technology ensures that transactions cannot be miss-delivered to an incorrect recipient, and that messages cannot be lost in transport between systems.
